Description

This is an ancillary building located 3 metres north-east of Over Hall, dating from the early 19th century. It serves as a wash-house and store, constructed from red brick in English bond and topped with a slate roof. The main section is aligned north-south, with an eastern wing and an internal stack at the junction. The roof has a shallow pitch and is hipped at the eastern end, featuring lead ridges. There is a yard for a dog enclosed by iron railings in the north-east corner. This building is included for its group value with Over Hall.
