Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house, with 18th-century window replacements and 20th-century restoration work. The front is now cement-rendered, finished in panels. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window front. It features double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. There are three doorways with narrow architraves and small hoods above them. The roofs are tiled, with a half-hipped and half-gabled shape at the south end. The rear of the building has three gables. The buildings from number 4 to number 20 on the east side, and numbers 19 to 41 on the west side, form a group with Bawm Cottage, Bawn Close.
