Description
There are two similar table tombs located at the Church of St Andrew. The first tomb is situated 1.3 metres north of the north vestry and commemorates Mary Ewer, who died in 1830, and John Ewer, who died in 1844. The second tomb is located 6 metres north of the north vestry and is dedicated to Thomas Shepherd Ewer, who passed away in 1856, and Emma Elizabeth Ewer, who died in 1852.
Both tombs stand on moulded bases and feature a moulded frieze adorned with paterae, which are supported at each corner by Tuscan columns. The top slab has a moulded soffit. These tombs are significant as they relate to the Ewer family.
