Description
Whitehouse Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with 19th-century red brick facing and alterations, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has a gabled crosswing on the left and a roof that includes a gablet and a hip to the right. There is a 20th-century single-storey garage extension on the far right. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of one large window and three smaller ones, all with small paned vertically sliding sashes, mostly accompanied by side lights. Additionally, there is a 20th-century ground floor semi-circular bay window with a hipped roof. The windows and door feature gauged brick arches with keystones. The eaves cornice is dentilled, and there are pilasters on the crosswing. A two-panel door with four lights is located to the right. The garage extension includes two garage doors and a half-glazed door. The building has three red brick chimney stacks and is situated within a homestead moat.
