Description
Bowers Hall is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located on an L-shaped plan with wings extending to the west and north. A 19th century range has been added to the south, along with various alterations and additions from the 19th and 20th centuries to the east. The building has two storeys, and the windows are 20th century casements. The roofs are tiled, featuring a 17th century chimney stack with a moulded brick cap and diagonal shafts. Inside, the house showcases exposed beams, 17th century doors with original fittings, and 17th century panelling. To the south of the house, there are several timber-framed and weatherboarded outbuildings and barns, which are now covered with corrugated asbestos.
