Description

No. 51 High Street is an 18th-century red brick house located approximately 70 yards back from the road, set within its own garden. The front features rusticated brick quoins, and the central section projects slightly, also adorned with rusticated brick quoins, topped by a modillion pediment. The house has two storeys and attics, with a three-window range; the center window is blocked, while the outer windows are three-light double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A central six-panel door is sheltered by a Tuscan portico supported by plain columns. The roof is tiled and has a mansard design, featuring two flat-headed dormers.
