Description

41 High Street is a small 18th-century house with a red brick front, standing two storeys high with attics. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. The house features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars, all set in flushed cased frames. The ground storey windows have shaped soffits. The entrance is marked by a six-panel door with a moulded architrave and a pediment supported by console brackets. The roof is tiled and has a moulded wood eaves cornice, along with two flat-headed dormers that were added in the 20th century. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 41 to 47 (odd).
