Description

This barn, located to the north-east of Vallance Farmhouse, was reconstructed around 1825 from two earlier barns that were situated near the Duke of Wellington's public house on the Green in Ickleton. It was built for James Gosling, who was a tenant of Trinity College, Cambridge. The structure features six bays, comprising three timber-framed bays from the late 15th or early 16th century and three timber-framed bays from the late 16th or early 17th century. The barn has two double entries that face south.
