It has a brick front wall, a timber-frame construction which has been rendered, and a mansard roof covered in pantiles, with a red brick ridge stack. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and features two dormers. There are three windows on either side of the baffle entry doorway. At the east end is a single bay with a steeply pitched pantiled roof, likely dating from the 17th century.
