Description
No. 6 Church Road is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century addition on the right side. The building is timber-framed and has plaster rendering, although one gable end and one side wall are cased in painted brick from the 20th century. It features a thatched roof made of reed with a ridge stack. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and has three windows. The original entrance is not known because the cottage was divided in the 19th century. Inside, the main beam is boxed, and the staircase is located beside the chimney stack.
