Description
Turnstile Cottage is a house from the mid-19th century, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped by a hipped slate roof. It features a brick stack on the left side and an internal stack on the right, which is set diagonally. The building is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan with two facades, each consisting of three bays. The west entrance facade includes a boarded and filleted door that is shaped like a four-centred arched head, accompanied by a chamfered stuccoed drip mould. There are two ground floor and three first floor windows that are mullioned and transomed, also featuring stuccoed drip moulds. The south elevation has similar details and includes a porched entrance. The cottage is included for its group value.
