Description
No. 10 South End is a house that was formerly an inn, specifically the Black Bull public house. It consists of two buildings from the early and late 17th century, with some later alterations. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a plain tiled roof and red brick end stacks, while the left side has a thatched roof. The house is two storeys high with two roof levels. The main entrance is on the right side, featuring a glazed door set in a sunk panelled doorcase with console brackets that support a cornice, which has replaced the original canopy. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows, a canted bay window to the left, and a three-light hung sash window to the right. The first floor has three horizontal sliding sash windows.
