Description

Bramley Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with renovations and additions made in the 20th century. The building features an exposed timber-frame structure with plastered infill, which was originally entirely plastered. It has a plain tiled roof and a rectangular rebuilt ridge stack, along with a painted brick plinth. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic and follows a two-unit lobby entry plan that includes a rear wing.

On the east facade, there are three timber-framed bays topped with a deep moulded wooden eaves cornice. The cottage has a 20th-century closed porch, two casement windows on the ground floor, and two more on the first floor. Additionally, there are two hipped dormer windows, each with casements.
