Description

No. 6 George Street is a cottage that dates from the 17th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The front wall features original early 17th-century brick, while the gable end includes some 19th-century gault brick. The roof is covered with 19th-century slates. The building has two storeys, each with one 20th-century window. The current doorway, which has an original brick band above the lintel, used to lead into a passageway, as the entry was originally from the rear.
