Description

This is a 17th-century barn located at the rear of number 60 on Church Street in Willingham, situated on Long Lane. The barn is timber framed and features a corrugated iron roof with casing on the walls. It has a single aisle and consists of six bays. Inside, the thrashing floor remains intact. The roof structure includes a double purlin system, with the upper purlin clasped and the lower made of staggered butt purlins. There are queen struts on arch-braced tie beams, and the purlins are supported by curved wind bracing.
