Description

Park Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage, originally two separate cottages, dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame, is plaster rendered, and has a long straw thatched roof with a half-hipped design. The building has an axial ridge stack and is one storey high with an attic. There are two dormers fitted with modern casements and three ground floor horizontal sliding sash windows from the 19th century, along with a doorway that has a boarded door. The original doorway may have led to a lobby opposite the stack. Inside, the cottage retains original abutting hearths and cupboard staircases.
