Description

This is a late 17th-century house located on the north side of High Street, Balsham, altered in the 19th century. The house is timber-framed, now rendered with a plaster finish, and has a hipped tiled roof with a ridge stack. It follows a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. There are three dormers with segmental heads. At the first floor, there are three 19th-century flush frame windows with nine panes of glass, hung in sashes. The entrance leads to a lobby with a 19th-century six-panelled door. A 19th-century canted bay window has been added to the right-hand end of the building.
