Description

The war memorial located in the churchyard of the Church of Holy Trinity was built in 1919 by architect F. E. Howard from Oxford. It is made of Clipsham limestone and features a gabled cross with a depiction of the crucifixion, along with figures of the Virgin Mary and St John. On the south side, there is a seated Virgin and Child within a mandorla. The memorial stands on a tapering chamfered column and base, both adorned with brooch stops. It is set on a stepped octagonal plinth that includes inscriptions.
