Description

This is a 17th-century cottage located on the west side of Church Lane in Elsworth. The building is timber-framed and originally plastered, with painted brick and tarred plaster on the foundations. It has a thatched roof, featuring a red brick ridge stack on the right-hand side. The front of the cottage has a boarded door and two horizontal sliding sash windows, one of which has a shutter. A horizontal sliding sash dormer window is also visible.
