Description

This is a 17th-century cottage located on the east side of Mill Road in Kirtling. The building is timber-framed and has been plastered, with a thatched roof. It features a ridge stack and an end stack on the east side. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, based on a three-unit plan. It has a boarded front door, two ground-floor windows with three lights each, and three dormer windows. The interior reveals the original wall frame and floor frames.
