Description
Pratts Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, with a late 17th century extension to the east. It features a timber frame with pargetted plastered panels and thatched roofs, along with two red brick ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and a one storey and attic structure, arranged in an L-plan. The original farmhouse has a three-unit plan, while the extension has a two-unit plan with a lobby entry. There are two 19th century sixteen-paned hung sash windows on both the first and ground floors, as well as a four-panelled door. The 16th century range includes a boarded door, a casement window, and a gabled dormer window. Inside, the farmhouse has stop-chamfered ceiling beams and inglenook hearths, one of which contains a baking oven, while two others are sealed.
