Description
Duck End Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, now plastered and painted brick, and has long straw thatched roofs, half-hipped to the main range. The exterior is largely painted brick. A local brick ridge stack, with a pair of diagonally set grouped shafts, is located at the junction of the two ranges, forming a T-plan. The cottage is one storey high with attics. It features two ground-floor horizontal sliding sash windows, a half-glazed entrance door, one small inserted window, one casement dormer window, and one window with horizontal sliding sashes. A further stack is positioned on the left-hand side.
