Description

Ravenscroft is a cottage that possibly dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is partly plastered and has brick casing. There is a later brick extension with a weather-boarded gable wall. The cottage has a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the right side and a tall ridge stack. At the rear, there is a timber-framed range topped with a corrugated iron roof. The building includes a gabled dormer window and horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows, one of which has panelled shutters. The entrance door consists of two raised and fielded panels.
