Description

West Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped, tiled roof with a moulded brick eaves cornice and two internal stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with four dormers. The first floor contains six original openings for flush frame hung sash windows, each with twelve panes. The ground floor has five windows, likely from the early 19th century. The doorway, located in the fourth bay, is also early 19th century and features a flush panelled door. This farmhouse was probably built for the Bendyshe family.
