Description

No. 50 High Street is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a 19th century extension at the road end. The building is timber framed, plaster rendered, and features clay bat. It has a long straw thatch roof with a single flue ridge stack. The cottage consists of two bays with a gable end facing the road and is one storey with an attic. The windows are casements. The 19th century extension is built from clay bat, rendered, and sits on a brick plinth with a pantiled roof and ridge stack, and is two storeys high with casement windows.

Inside, the timber framing is exposed, showcasing jowled heads to the posts and inglenook hearths.
