The cottage features a ridge stack and has a lobby entry with a two-room plan, complemented by a rear kitchen wing that forms a T-plan. It is one storey high with attics, and includes two dormers. The rear range of the cottage is also framed and thatched. Adjacent to the cottage is a timber framed outbuilding, which is cased in 20th century brick and has a reed thatch roof.
