Description

No. 13 Church End is a cottage, likely built in the late 17th century or 18th century. It features a timber frame with plaster rendering over a brick sill and a gault brick gable end. The roof is thatched with reeds and has a 19th-century brick chimney on the right side and an 18th-century red brick chimney on the left gable end. The cottage is two storeys high and has one three-light casement window on the first floor. There are two windows on the ground floor, including a sixteen-pane hung sash window on either side of the doorway. It is said to have been the curate's house.
