Description

No. 117 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, which underwent renovations in the mid to late 20th century. The building features a timber frame with plaster rendering and a gable end made of sorted flint on the right side. It has a reed thatched roof with a brick ridge stack that is rendered. The original layout may have included a lobby entry, but the entrance is now located in the gable end. The cottage has two storeys and includes two late 20th century casement windows on both the first and ground floors. There are also modern extensions at the rear.
