Description

An 18th-century barn stands at Meadow Croft Farm on the east side of Lotfield Street in Orwell. The barn is timber framed and originally weatherboarded, now with a steeply pitched corrugated iron roof. It comprises three bays, with a central aisle. The interior features a post carved with a representation of a post mill and the inscription 'Ion Anthan M Mulbary 17(65?)'. The roof is a queen strut design with arched tie beams.
