Description

No. 31 High Street is a mid 19th-century villa constructed of gault brick with a hipped slate roof featuring boarded wooden eaves. The building has two symmetrically placed end stacks and is designed as a double pile. It stands two storeys tall and has a double front, which includes a range of three recessed twelve-pane hung sash windows. Access to the villa is gained by three steps leading up to a central doorway that has a double recessed elliptical arch supported by painted stone impost blocks. The original door is a four-panelled design.
