Description

No. 10 Duck Street is a house dating from the early 19th century, with an earlier building located at the rear. It is constructed of coursed limestone and ashlar, topped with a steeply pitched Welsh slate roof and featuring end stacks. The house has two storeys and three symmetrical bays. The entrance consists of a half-glazed panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it. On the ground floor, there are two recessed sixteen-paned hung sash windows, and on the first floor, there are two smaller windows of the same style, all with stone lintels. The enclosure award map from 1794 indicates the presence of the earlier building. This property is included for its group value.
