KIMBOLTON CASTLE GREEN TL 095675 (EAST SIDE) WALL AND GATE PIERS 6/10 TO SOUTH WEST OF GATEHOUSE AT KIMBOLTON SCHOOL II GV Late C18 shaped wall adjoining gatehouse and enclosing Castle Green on south. Local brick with stone coping. Gatepiers to carriageway opening of stone ashlar to brick core. Square section with moulded plinth and plain entablature, surmounted by finials with shallow pyramidal caps. Wrought iron gates.
