Description

No. 3 High Street is a Grade II listed building originally built in the 16th century as a jettied timber-framed house. It features two bays and has a side passage on the north-west side. The house was refronted in the early 19th century and stands two storeys tall. The exterior is roughcast rendered with a steeply pitched plain tile roof and a ridge stack. It has a coved eaves cornice and two first-floor horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded wooden frames. There is also a larger similar window located to the south-east of the open side passage. Inside, the building retains framed walls and trusses.
