Description

Mayes is an early 19th century shop located on Kimbolton High Street. It is two storeys tall with attics and features two three-storey mansard-roofed rear wings, along with a later adjoining house that has two storeys and four bays. The building is constructed of local brick, which is painted, and has a slate roof facing the street, while the wings have a mix of old and modern tiles. There are three brick chimney stacks.

The street facade includes two flat-roofed dormer windows and two first-floor recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars set in cambered arches. Large shop windows are positioned on either side of a modern glazed door that is framed by a reeded architrave.
