Description

Nos 160 and 162 on St Neots Road are a building dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. Originally two cottages, they have been converted into a single residence. The structure has a linear plan with three ground floor rooms and an internal chimney of RCHM type J. It stands two storeys high and features flat-topped dormers. The roof is tiled, and the building is constructed from timber framing with whitened plaster and brick. The windows are casements, most of which have glazing bars and shutters. Inside, there is a coved wood and plaster cornice. A modern doorway is located on the return. This building is included for its group value, as it is part of a collection that also includes Nos 156, 166, and 168.
