Description

Lych Gate Cottage is a late 16th century timber-framed cottage located on Broughton Bridge Road. It features a three-unit plan with an original single-storey sunken dairy on the right side, which was later raised to two storeys. The cottage has a thatched roof and a ridge stack made of local red brick. The rendered walls include four windows of various sizes, all with glazing bars set in cambered arches. There is a plank door on the left side.
