Description

This is a 19th-century village lockup, located at the rear of number 14 The Green in Sawtry. Originally listed as being at the south end of Front Street, the building is constructed of local brick and has a hipped slate roof. It is a single-story structure with blind walls. A doorway features bead and quirk boarding that is studded, and it contains an iron grill.
