Description

The building is a village lock-up located at the rear of number 54 on Park Lane, dating from the mid-19th century. It is a small, gabled shed made of substantial planks. The roof is also constructed of planks, with metal sheeting, likely zinc, along the ridge. There is a plank door on the south gable end, which is topped by a small square grating. This lock-up originally stood in the village street.
