Description

The Manor House is a house dating from around 1830. It is constructed of local gault brick and features a hipped slate roof with stacks on the rear wall. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys. The symmetrical facade includes five recessed twelve-pane hung sash windows, which are set under flat original brick arches with raised stone keyblocks. The central doorway has a broken pediment and is flanked by engaged columns, leading to a round-headed arch. The door itself is a four-panelled design. The rear walls display random brickwork in English bond. Nearby, there is an outbuilding made of brick that incorporates medieval stone elements, including cornice moulding and bosses, although this outbuilding is not included in the listing.
