Description
No. 18A Broadway is an early 19th century building located at the back of No. 16. It is two storeys high and features six windows, along with a two-window back addition. The building is constructed from gault brick and has gauged flat brick arches above recessed sash windows that retain their original glazing bars. There is a first-floor addition at the north end. The entrance includes a round-arched doorway set in a blind recess, which is adorned with a patterned fanlight and a panelled door. Above the doorway, there is a bracketed Windsor type lamp, and the entrance is accessed by stone steps with wrought iron railings. Nos. 18A and 20B are part of a group with the rear of Nos. 16 and 20, situated in the courtyard of the former Globe Inn.
