Description

22 Broadway is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with attics. Its front is plastered, and it features a tile roof with a wooden cornice that has modillions. The building has four windows with glazing bars, including two on the ground floor and a carriageway with a semi-elliptical head. All openings have flat carved surrounds. There are three flat-topped dormers with glazing bars, although only one dormer retains its original features. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 6 (even), Nos. 12, 14, 16, and Nos. 20 to 32 (even), as well as Nos. 1 to 17 (odd) and Nos. 21 and 23 Crown Street.
