Description
12 Rickfords Hill is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic and a cellar. The exterior is made of brick that has been stuccoed and painted, featuring a moulded eaves cornice and an old tiled roof with two hipped dormers.
On the first floor, there are four windows arranged from left to right: a single window, a three-light window, a blocked single window, and another three-light window. The ground floor has a single window, a three-light window, a door, and a modern angular bay window, with all windows having moulded frames. The entrance features a six-panel door set within a doorcase that has reeded pilasters and an entablature adorned with a triglyph frieze and a moulded flat hood. The fanlight above the door is rectangular and has a curved diamond pattern.
Inside, there is a panelled room with recesses and an archway in the hall. There is also a lower extension to the south. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 12 (even).
