Description

This is a house, originally dating to 1754 (as indicated by a dated stone), and later remodelled in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of brick, which has been painted. It features a roof and a mid-18th century red brick stack. The building was originally arranged with a three-bay lobby entry plan. It is two storeys high, but the roof was raised and a first floor added during the late 19th century. There are three recessed casement windows on the front. Segmental arches, dating from the mid-18th century, frame the three ground floor windows and the front door, though these are 20th-century replacements. The right-hand gable end has been rebuilt in the 20th century. A dated stone, now painted, is positioned above the front door.
