Description

This is a house located at 1 Raglan Street, dating from the early 18th century with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring brick and painted stone dressings, and has a slate roof with a brick gable stack at the north end. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays. It includes quoins and an off-centre doorcase that has a chamfered edge, a large lintel, jambs, and impost blocks, leading to a plank door. On either side of the door, there are two-light side sliding sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath cambered brick arches. Above these, there are two similar windows located below the eaves.
