Cottage with shop to gable end. c1770. Timber framed, rendered front wall, with brick repairs or rebuild to rear and end walls. Steeply pitched roof, now slated, with tumbled gable ends and ridge stack. Three bay, lobby entry plan. Two C19 gable dormers. Two flush frame, four-pane hung sashes on either side of doorway to lobby entry. Inside: joists exposed and similar to No. 1, 3 Briggate West, dated 1770 (q.v.).
