Description

Deve House is a cottage and workshop dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and a red pantile roof, along with a plastered ridge stack. The building is one storey with an attic and has a three-unit plan. To the north is a basket-making workshop, which is weatherboarded and covered with modern interlocking tiles. The cottage has two gabled casement dormer windows and two ground floor casement windows, along with one small fixed light window. There is a boarded door and a rustic wooden open porch. Inside, the house has sealed inglenook hearths and boxed main beams.
