Description

Thatched Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier. It has one storey and an attic, featuring a central hipped gable and a thatched roof. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with decorative panel pargetting. There are three ranges of half-paned casement windows, arranged in groups of three, two, and three lights. The cottage has two red brick chimney stacks, one on the left and one on the right. A central enclosed porch with a pantile roof and a 20th-century boarded door faces to the right. The frame includes stop-chamfered beams and moulded brackets.
