Description

Leez Priory Fisherman's Hut is a cottage built in the mid-16th century with a gabled roof covered in red plain tiles. It is constructed from red brick and has two storeys, featuring two casement windows and a plain board door. The building retains its original external red brick chimney stack. Inside, there are heavy chamfered bridging joists and tie beams. Known as the Fisherman's Hut, it is located at the northeast end of the Garden Wall and next to the enclosed Fish Pond and a 20th-century Water Tower, creating a very picturesque setting.
