Description

Blackhorse Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 15th century or earlier, with an extension added to the rear. It has one storey and an attic, featuring a thatched roof with a gabled dormer. The cottage is timber framed and plastered, with three square leaded windows. There is a 20th-century door set in a 20th-century thatched and glazed porch. A central red brick chimney stack is present, and the roof timbers show signs of sooting. The construction includes halved and bridled scarf joints.
