Description

Glandfields Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, originally a hall house that has undergone later alterations. It is two storeys tall and features a plain red tiled roof with three gables, the left and right gables having jetties and an outshot to the right. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a range of three sliding sash windows that have glazed margins. There is an outshot porch supported by pillars with a carved head, and a panelled door with two lights. A diagonal shaft red brick chimney is attached to the lower left roof, while a square chimney stack is located to the right. A plaque on the central gable reads "1565."
